What’s up in the Shop

Starting to look boaty. Sheer strips are installed. Only 50 more to go. The inner stems are the first components of the strip planked double paddle canoe Bead and Cove in the afternoon light Milling western red cedar bead and cove strips for the double paddle canoe. New year. New boat. @sarah.heatsky and I bought an @wildernessvans Transit Connect. I made a cutting board. The Savo 650 I built with Dave and Annalise made it to the water. When I meet new people I like to tell them I am a boatbuilder. I think it’s important to have a project to backup that declaration.
